Bring your own, legally
Nixis doesn’t come with any channels, streams or playlists. You bring a login or playlist from your provider. Only use ones you’re licensed to use, from a provider that has the rights to what it offers.
Please don’t
- Use Nixis to share or resell channels, streams or playlists you don’t have the rights to.
- Sell or set up Nixis for other people with content that isn’t licensed.
- Advertise Nixis as coming with free or unlicensed channels.
- Share one device’s spot across more devices than you’ve paid for, or try to get around how devices are counted.
- Try to break into Nixis, other people’s accounts, or the devices paired to them.
- Overload our servers, or use bots to hammer them.
- Use Nixis for anything illegal where you live.
Resellers
If you set up Nixis for other people, you’re responsible for the logins you send to their TVs. Make sure every one of them is licensed, and that the people you serve know what they’re getting from you.
What happens if this is broken
We may turn off devices, or suspend or close the account or business involved. If we find an account or business sharing content it isn’t licensed to share, we close it, and there’s no refund. Where it’s fair to, we’ll talk to you first.
Reporting a problem
If you think someone is using Nixis to share your content without permission, email us below with the details and we’ll look into it. Since we never host or pass along any streams, the content itself has to be taken down by whoever is serving it.
